Academic Exhange between Mulawarman University and the University of Tokyo

Mulawarman University, Indonesia and GALS, the University of Tokyo, Japan has signed new collaboration on January 2006, will be effective for a period of 5 years.
Center for Social Forestry, Mulawarman University as counterpart in “Academic and Student Exchange between Mulawarman University and Graduate School of Agricultural and Life Sciences, The University of Tokyo.”
This collaboration will promote the development of research and other academic activities in the respective organizations.
The two universities agree to promote cooperation in the field of environmental conservation including sustainable use and management of natural resources and related areas through appropriate means as follows;
1. Exchange of faculty members and other researchers
2. Exchange of undergraduate and graduate students
3. Execution of joint research
4. Holding lecturer and symposia
5. Exchange of academic information and publications
The institutions which involve on academic and student exchange collaboration: Fakultas Kehutanan Unmul, Program Magister Kehutanan Unmul, Program Konservasi Sumberdaya Alam dan Lingkungan Unmul, CSF Unmul, and Department of Global Agricultural Sciences of GALS-UTYO.
On student exchange, Unmul and GALS UTYO will exchange up to three undergraduate or graduate students annually from each other's institution, in the field of environmental conservation including sustainable use and management of natural resources and related areas.
